Kimberly Harper-Colucci

I'm a documentary and editorial photographer based in Bluffton, South Carolina.

I came to the camera after a career in service. I served in the Air Force, then the Army. I flew as a critical care paramedic, bringing wounded soldiers from Landstuhl to the ICU at Walter Reed. Later I ran an EMS department and served as a public information officer. That work gave me the two things clients actually pay for: calm when the scene is moving, and accuracy when there's no second take.

Now I shoot brand and e-commerce work, events, and portraits, and I keep a fine art practice rooted in the Lowcountry. I work in natural light when I can and use flash when I have to. I shoot digital, plus film when the story calls for it.
